A program approach to better health

Our programs consist of interconnected projects. Through these projects, we hope to stimulate changes in the healthcare system and improve (positive) health.

As pathfinders, we initiate and accelerate important developments. For example, the shift of focus in healthcare from illness to health.

Read more about our mission

Addressing the root causes of ill health requires reaching out to a variety of groups in society on multiple levels.

Governments, healthcare organizations, businesses, suppliers, communities and ultimately individuals are all connected. On a systemic level, all of these relationships matter, like "cogs in a machine" that influence each other. For better or for worse. Influencing these relationships can create lasting change, allowing more people to live a healthy life. This requires validation, adaptation of new protocols, guidelines and reimbursement, change in processes and technology, and a different mindset. We want to help create these preconditions.

Noaber searches out opportunities to improve health, and delves into fields in which we hope to make a difference. We then look for organizations that are already working to capitalize on those opportunities. These are the organizations we like to support. This could involve anything from developing new interventions, gathering sufficient evidence that these interventions work, funding, strengthening civil society, to implementing and rolling out good solutions and looking at appropriate laws and regulations.

Through our cohesive set of projects, we seek to, together with all relevant stakeholders, lay the foundation for further independent development in the chosen fields, and ultimately more healthy years of life.

This means that we remain involved as long as our involvement results in a meaningful contribution to the intended systemic change.
We currently have four programs focusing on social health, mental health and resilience, population health and lifestyle.
