The name of this part of the Noaber organizations makes one think of a person: an interested, concerned individual who invests in businesses with 'added value' that deliver multiple returns. In the first place, George Avenue seeks returns in terms of social development. Additionally, there are also financial returns. This method and point of view is known as social venturing. Many individuals are interested in this method. This is why the Vereniging NijenRoad (the NijenRoad Association) was established, partly on the initiative of George Avenue. This organization unites interested and concerned (former) entrepreneurs who wish to join together in developing and applying the method of social venturing.
