Abakus includes a large number of scientifically accepted measurement instruments. By choosing a subset of measurement units applicable for the specific patient and keeping track of the actual score on the specific measurement unit, the therapist can compare the actual score of the treatment method chosen with the predicted score based on scientific evidence. This enables objective monitoring of treatment results and evidence based clinical reasoning.
