A guide to Venture Philanthropy for Venture Capital and Private Equity investors geschreven door Ashley Metz Cummings en Lisa Hehenberger. De titel zegt precies waarover wordt geschreven (en waarvan voorbeelden worden gegeven).
De (Engelse) tekst van de uitnodiging luidt:
To launch the new publication, EVPA, together with our long-term sponsor 3i Group and Knowledge Centre supporter Impetus Trust, invites you to join us on 22 June at the 3i Group offices at 16 Palace Street, London SW1E 5JD. The event will take place from 12:30 until 2pm. A light lunch will be served.
Following an introduction to the Knowledge Centre publication, EVPA co-founders Serge Raicher, Doug Miller and Stephen Dawson, as well as Patrick Dunne of 3i, will briefly explore the many options Private Equity firms have when approaching venture philanthropy.
This EVPA publication is a practical guide for individuals and PE Industry firms who are interested in getting involved in VP. It presents examples of best practice within European PE firms and Venture Philanthropy organisations, and also serves as a useful resource for VP professionals and organisations seeking partners in the VC & PE industry. The paper is a compilation of numerous interviews with executives at PE firms and VP organisations, as well as archival research. The paper identifies three general models used by VC & PE firms to engage in venture philanthropy.
